Hi.
I’m Mordy Gottlieb, Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate, practicing for over 7 years.
I built Game Changer Group Therapy to help sex addicts heal, grow, and improve their lives — together.
I’ve been there.
As a recovered sex addict, I’m all-too-familiar with the shame, misery, and loneliness on the journey to recovery.
What saved me was counseling in conjunction with group therapy, and I’m on a mission to give others that second lease on life, too. Seeing ‘the power of the group’ for myself, I believe the solution to your challenges is connection.
Ever since, I have trained and practiced in the trenches — helping those deemed “hopeless” recover through validation, support, and real connection.
MY EXPERIENCE
In working with hundreds of patients, I developed a unique specialization in the understanding and treatment of sex addiction — enabling me to provide an inpatient level of care in an outpatient setting.
Since 2016, I have been training in and practicing addiction therapy. I was guided by leaders in the field like Dr. Kevin Skinner and Dr. Ken Adams, as I worked in world-recognized trauma and addiction rehabs in Arizona.
WHAT I BELIEVE
Regardless of co-occurring disorders or severity, recovery is always possible.
My work targets pain points related to
• self image
• relationships
• needs
From a place of honesty and compassion — accepting the past, healing the trauma, and rediscovering strength from within.

Your Clients Can Do Even Better With Group Therapy
“I've struggled with addiction most of my life. I came to a point where I knew I needed help. I was angry and scared. Butall that changed after I met Mordy. Mordy was passionate about what he did and I felt that he really cared and wanted to help. As I opened up to Mordy about my addictions, struggles, and traumahe was so compassionate and understanding. At the same time, he never treated me with kid gloves. He gave me his honest opinion and assessment of my situation, which I appreciated. He helped me go deep and face my past trauma. He showed meaddiction was not my problem, it was my way of escaping my problem. The education, revelation, healing and path to recovery I experienced under Mordy's leadership, counseling and guidance was life changing. I'm forever grateful to Mordy and his dedication to helping others on this journey of recovery.”
“For over 40 years, I suffered from depression and anxiety and in my late fifties, from an addiction to pornography. Through the years, I went to therapy for my behavioral health issues, going through six therapists and psychiatrists, with some results, but never understanding the root cause of my issues. When I asked my sex addiction therapist, “Why can’t I shake this porn addiction?” she recommended that I go to the Meadows Outpatient Center. This is where I first met Mordy. I had no idea what an impact he would have in the recovery of my sexual addiction, and in finding the cause of my problems. Mordy helped me realize that feeling was the beginning of healing. Mordy helped me look within myself to find the answers I needed to become a healthy and functioning human being. We all have the answers inside of us to solve the hardest of our problems, but you first must realize that you can, just as Mordy showed me. Today, I have more confidence, I know the direction that I want my life to go, and I stopped taking meds. I can deal with day-to-day life. No words can describe how thankful I am for the work that Mordy did with me, and I will forever be grateful to him.”
